Barron Trump, the teenage son of\u00a0President Donald Trump, called police to report an alleged assault in the United Kingdom last year, according to multiple reports.<\/p>\n

In January 2025, Barron Trump made an emergency call to UK authorities to report that a woman he had met on social media was being assaulted. He told a dispatcher that he saw the woman being attacked when he video-called her, according to local reports from\u00a0The London Standard,\u00a0The Times,\u00a0Sky News,\u00a0Metro\u00a0and other outlets.<\/p>\n

The emergency call transcript was read aloud in Snaresbrook Crown Court on Jan. 22 in the trial of Matvei Rumiantsev, who is accused of assaulting the woman, the reports said.<\/p>\n

Rumiantsev, who is charged with\u00a0assault, actual bodily harm, two counts of rape, intentional strangulation and perverting the course of justice, denies the allegations against him, the reports said.<\/p>\n

USA TODAY has reached out to Snaresbrook Crown Court, Crown Prosecution Service and the White House.<\/p>\n

Woman told court Barron Trump’s call to police ‘helped save my life,’ reports say<\/h2>\n

The woman, who has not been named under UK privacy laws, testified in court that she had been in a relationship with Rumiantsev, who answered her phone when Barron Trump called, per reports.<\/p>\n

On Barron Trump’s call, the woman reportedly testified, \u201cHe helped save my life. That call was like a sign from God at that moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a transcript of Barron Trump’s emergency call published by the outlets, the president’s son told a dispatcher that the woman was “getting beat up.”<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s really an emergency, please,” he told the operator.<\/p>\n

When asked how he knew the woman, Barron Trump reportedly said, “I don\u2019t think these details matter she\u2019s getting beat up but OK fine, also I met her on social media, I don\u2019t think that matters.”<\/p>\n

The operator responded, “Can you stop being rude and actually answer my questions. If you want to help the person, you\u2019ll answer my questions clearly and precisely, thank you.”<\/p>\n

After providing more information, Barron Trump told the operator, “sorry for being rude,” before hanging up, the reports said.<\/p>\n

The Times and Metro reported that police bodycam video from the scene showed the woman telling officers: \u201cI am friends with Barron Trump,\u00a0Donald Trump\u2019s son.\u201d<\/p>\n

One of the officers then tells a colleague: “So apparently this informant from America is likely to be Donald Trump\u2019s son.”<\/p>\n
