{"id":2685,"date":"2026-02-15T20:43:36","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T20:43:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.cedritech.com\/?p=2685"},"modified":"2026-02-15T20:43:36","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T20:43:36","slug":"breaking-pam-bondi-says-doj-released-all-epstein-files-names-trump-biden-zuckerberg-tucker-carlson-among-politically-exposed-persons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.cedritech.com\/?p=2685","title":{"rendered":"BREAKING: Pam Bondi Says DOJ Released \u2018All\u2019 Epstein Files \u2014 Names Trump, Biden, Zuckerberg, Tucker Carlson Among \u2018Politically Exposed Persons\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>(Photo Credit: Justice Department)<\/p>\n<p>The Justice Department said it has released \u201call\u201d files tied to dead sex criminal\u00a0<strong>Jeffrey Epstein,<\/strong>\u00a0according to a letter sent by Attorney General\u00a0<strong>Pam Bondi<\/strong>\u00a0and Deputy AG\u00a0<strong>Todd Blanche<\/strong>\u00a0to lawmakers on Saturday night.<\/p>\n<p>Bondi and Blanche\u2019s letter said the DOJ has fulfilled its obligation to release files as part of the Epstein Transparency Act and outlined why it redacted certain portions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn\u00a0accordance\u00a0with\u00a0the\u00a0requirements\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0Act,\u00a0and\u00a0as\u00a0described\u00a0in\u00a0various\u00a0Department\u00a0submissions\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0courts\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0Southern\u00a0District\u00a0of\u00a0New\u00a0York\u00a0assigned\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0Epstein\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>[Ghislaine]\u00a0Maxwell\u00a0<\/strong>prosecutions and related orders, the Department released all \u2018records, documents, communications and investigative materials in the possession of the Department\u2019 that \u2018relate to\u2019 [Epstein],\u201d the letter said.<\/p>\n<p>It also included a lengthy list of government officials and \u201cpolitically exposed persons\u201d who were named in the files.<\/p>\n<p>That list included President\u00a0<strong>Donald Trump<\/strong>, ex-President\u00a0<strong>Joe Biden<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Tucker Carlson<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Bruce Springsteen<\/strong>, Meta CEO\u00a0<strong>Mark Zuckerberg<\/strong>, Amazon founder<strong>\u00a0Jeff Bezos<\/strong>, California Sen.\u00a0<strong>Adam Schiff<\/strong>\u00a0(D),\u00a0<strong>Robert De Niro<\/strong>,<strong>\u00a0Alec Baldwin<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Barbra Streisand<\/strong>, ex-Vice President\u00a0<strong>Kamala Harris<\/strong>, and former President\u00a0<strong>Barack Obama<\/strong>, among many others.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNames appear in the files released under the Act in a wide variety of contexts,\u201d the letter noted. \u201cFor example, some individuals had extensive direct email contact with Epstein or Maxwell, while other individuals are mentioned only in a portion of a document (including press reporting) that on its face is unrelated to the Epstein or Maxwell matters.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The letter said \u201cNo\u00a0records\u00a0were\u00a0withheld\u00a0or\u00a0redacted\u00a0\u2018on\u00a0the\u00a0basis\u00a0of\u00a0embarrassment,\u00a0reputational\u00a0harm,\u00a0or\u00a0political\u00a0sensitivity,\u00a0including\u00a0to\u00a0any\u00a0government\u00a0official,\u00a0public\u00a0figure,\u00a0or\u00a0foreign\u00a0dignitary.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Politico\u00a0<\/em>senior legal affairs reporter\u00a0<strong>Josh Gerstein<\/strong>\u00a0shared the letter on X; you can read the full six-page document by\u00a0clicking here.<\/p>\n<div class=\"twitter-tweet-wrapper\" data-embed-anchor=\"c1bd93bb-4319-5713-99aa-6ff8841bf9fa\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet caas-loaded\" data-theme=\"light\" data-caas-lazy-loading-init=\"1\" data-twitter-extracted-i1771186653197926146=\"true\"><p>JUST IN: DOJ sends Hill a letter purporting to fulfill requirement in Epstein Files Transparency Act for an explanation of all redactions from released files. Doc:\u00a0https:\/\/t.co\/5PT7HWgJ0N<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Josh Gerstein (@joshgerstein)\u00a0February 15, 2026<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<p>It was addressed to Senate Judiciary Chair\u00a0<strong>Chuck Grassley<\/strong>\u00a0(R-IA), Sen.\u00a0<strong>Dick Durbin<\/strong>\u00a0(D-IL), and House Judiciary Chair\u00a0<strong>Jim Jordan<\/strong>\u00a0(R-OH) and Rep.\u00a0<strong>Jamie Raskin<\/strong> (D-MD).<\/p>\n<p>The Justice Department, according to the letter, worked \u201cin consultation with victim counsel and victims directly\u201d on what should be redacted in the files. That included \u201cpersonally indentifiable information of victim or victims\u2019 personal and medical files,\u201d which the letter said \u201cwould constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Saturday\u2019s letter comes just days after Bondi was\u00a0lambasted\u00a0by a number of Democratic lawmakers \u2014\u00a0and\u00a0Rep.\u00a0<strong>Thomas Massie<\/strong>\u00a0(R-KY) \u2014 over her handling of Epstein-related files.<\/p>\n<p>Raskin started the hearing off by accusing Bondi of \u201cignoring\u201d victims and\u00a0leading a \u201cmassive Epstein cover-up\u201d\u00a0that he said is the biggest failure in Justice Department history.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou replace real prosecutors with counterfeit stooges who robotically do the president\u2019s bidding,\u201d Raskin said. \u201cNothing in American history comes close to this complete corruption of the justice function and contamination of federal law enforcement.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bondi got her own shots in, branding Raskin\u00a0a \u201cwashed-up, loser lawyer\u201d who was a political failure.<\/p>\n<p>The Saturday letter also comes after the Justice Department released 3.5 million files on Epstein at the end of January.
