Still, Israel&#8217;s prime minister has decided to maintain the military offensive against Hezbollah in the south of Lebanon, issuing new evacuation orders Tuesday for Nabatieh, one of the region&#8217;s largest cities, indicating that more strikes will follow.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;Trump later said on social media that Israel and Hezbollah had\u00a0agreed to stop their attacks on each other,&#8221;\u00a0reports\u00a0<em>The New York Times<\/em>, &#8220;while the Lebanese government\u2014which does not include or control Hezbollah\u2014said a new truce was taking shape.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;I spoke with President Trump tonight,&#8221;\u00a0said\u00a0Netanyahu yesterday, &#8220;and told him that if Hezbollah doesn&#8217;t cease its attacks on our cities and civilians\u2014Israel will strike terror targets in Beirut. This position of ours remains.&#8221; Everything looks very tenuous right now, and so naturally Trump is\u2026losing interest!<\/p>\n<div class=\"max-md:faux-bleed mb-4 bg-accent\/2 pb-5 md:invisible md:mb-0 md:h-0 md:overflow-hidden md:pb-0\">\n<div class=\"py-2 text-center text-xs uppercase\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"flex w-full flex-nowrap justify-center\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><strong>As for Iran:\u00a0<\/strong>&#8220;I don&#8217;t care if they&#8217;re over, honestly,&#8221;\u00a0said\u00a0Trump, referring to peace talks with Iran. &#8220;I really don&#8217;t care. I couldn&#8217;t care less,&#8221; Trump told CNBC on Monday, saying the negotiations &#8220;started to get very boring.&#8221; (Reminds me of his wife&#8217;s\u00a0iconic jacket\u00a0that she wore to a\u2026migrant detention center.)<\/p>\n<div class=\"mb-4\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;Iran really wants to make a deal, and it will be a good one for the U.S.A. and those that are with us,&#8221;\u00a0wrote\u00a0Trump on Truth Social yesterday. &#8220;But don&#8217;t the Dumocrats, and various seemingly unpatriotic Republicans, understand that it is MUCH tougher for me to properly do my job and negotiate, when political hacks keep negatively &#8216;chirping,&#8217; at levels never seen before, over and over again, that I should move faster, or move slower, or go to war, or not go to war, or whatever.
