Instead, it attacked the\u00a0<i>Post<\/i>\u00a0for publishing details about the recording, which it said were taken out of context.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"relative mb-4\">\n<div class=\"relative\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"rounded-lg\" src=\"https:\/\/s.yimg.com\/ny\/api\/res\/1.2\/F.onKLyC_3kenUvqNHpGNQ--\/YXBwaWQ9aGlnaGxhbmRlcjt3PTk2MDtoPTg4MTtjZj13ZWJw\/https:\/\/media.zenfs.com\/en\/thedailybeast.com\/c49ebf8608de91f04c84a2dd5aeff28f\" alt=\"Fordow, one of three Iranian nuclear sites struck by U.S. bombs this month, was built in 2006 but remained secret until foreign intelligence services uncovered it by 2009. Their nuclear weapons program is over.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A senior U.S. intelligence official also slammed the\u00a0<i>Post<\/i>\u2019s report, telling the paper that \u201cone slice of signals intelligence on its own does not reflect the full intelligence picture.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The report did not specify what the Iranian officials expected the damage to be.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Trump has attacked Democrats and the media for casting doubt on the efficacy of last weekend\u2019s attack. He was peeved with an intelligence leak from the Pentagon that claimed the bombing set Iran\u2019s nuclear program back months, not years. He has also shut down reports that say Iran evacuated much of its enriched uranium before B-2 bombers released their payloads, calling them untrue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cI don\u2019t think they did, no,\u201d Trump said Sunday about Iran moving uranium ahead of the attack. \u201cIt\u2019s very hard to do; it\u2019s very dangerous to do \u2026 they didn\u2019t know we were coming until just then.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Experts disagree with Trump\u2019s repeated claim that transporting uranium is particularly difficult.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Joseph Cirincione, a nuclear nonproliferation expert and former vice chair of the Center for International Policy, told CNN last week that Iran could have moved its enriched uranium with just \u201cthree or four trucks.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">United Nations inspectors also believe Iran was likely able to move uranium.
