Scottie Scheffler is in full control at Quail Hollow.
Scheffler, after his 6-under 65 on Saturday, holds a three-shot lead entering the final round of the PGA Championship. A win on Sunday would be his first at the tournament, and his third career major championship victory. The top-ranked golfer has never won a major outside of Augusta National.
Scheffler will be paired with Alex Noren on Sunday. Noren got to 8-under with his 5-under 66 on Saturday. J.T. Poston and Davis Riley are in third at 7-under. Jhonattan Vegas, who held the lead at the midway point, dropped back to 6-under with Jon Rahm and Si Woo Kim. Vegas bogeyed the final hole after missing a very makeable putt on Saturday.
